Problems with animate 2, the dropdown menu in the bottom left corner is stuck on walk, it worked well yesteday. Driver windows xp. I can still add the animations from the content view however I wanted to check out an adjustment for legs I found on the menu. This brings up previous problem, using genesis figures an adding an Animate animation get the feet point up 20 degree. Reverse the high heel dial reduce the problem but get the toes to point up, and I think one utility pose in the Animate menu who fixed the stupid V4 default ballet shoe pose.

Last is it a way modify Animate animations, yes I can cut and just use some frames but how to modify things like feet position or arm movement? Solved the problem with the dropdown. It simply don't work if undocked and placed on screen two. Does not work well if undocked in any case.

It still leaves me with the stupid feet problem, any elegant way to fix this. Perhaps Graphmate will help here? Do you have the full version? Have the full version of Studio 4.5 Does not have Graphmate or Keymate but thought they might make this process simpler. Found a way to get this to work. Memorized the feet then zeroed the animation.

Did the same for one arm who holds an tray. Then I had to set the keyframes again and I could save the animation, however this is an bit awkward as the pose also stores the figure position, used to animate in poser with the use of keyframes. Another issue is that you can not combine poses in keyframes and Animates animations. Solved the problem with the dropdown. It simply don't work if undocked and placed on screen two. My bad - do you have the full version of aniMate - not the lite version that comes with DS 4.5 if so you can add a layer that will fix the feet. There's a 'Pose Adjust Script' created by DavidGB available at 'shareCG' () which adjusts the zero pose of Genesis to that of V4. With that you're able to create a new aniBlock to be used in a Sub-Track to correct the posing value differences between Genesis and V4/M4 in aniMate 2. The steps I did to create the new aniBlock: 1. Load Genesis into the scene 2. On the 'Timeline' tab set FPS to 30, create a keyframe for and inject the pose at every single frame (from frame '0' to frame '30'). Switch to the 'aniMate2' tab, rightklick it and choose 'Create aniBlock from Studio Keyframes'.

Rightklick the new aniBlock and choose 'Save as new' and name it 'Genesis Pose Adjust' or anything you like. When you now want to animate Genesis, create a Sub-Track at the '+' icon in aniMate2 and drag the pose adjust aniBlock there. On the main track, aply the aniBlock you want Genesis to perform. See the weird feet being gone.

I tested this on some of the aniBlocks I own and it works on aniBlocks created for both V4 and M4. The script not only corrects the feet, it also corrects the thigh and collar posing. One of the most useful scripts I own.:). Hi Stefan,, yes,, the poze script file work good ^^ I iinslalled it few months ago,, then I forget this script.,, so I made aniblock by myself to correct genesis node rotaiton,,,, but,,the script work more better ^^; thanks much. Then,,, if you have animate 2, you need not record every keyframe(0 to 30) from daz timeline, with the fix poze ^^; just add empty block, in animate 2 timeline, first then go to key edit mode.
